SOBO Drop Away Arrow Rest

The SOBO Drop Away Rest is engineered for archers who demand precision, consistency, and complete arrow clearance on every shot. Built to mount cleanly onto compound bows, this drop away rest uses a cable-driven activation system that pulls the launcher arm down and out of the way the instant the bow is drawn, then springs back into position to cradle the arrow before the shot. This full containment design keeps the arrow secure during the draw, aiming, and hold phases, eliminating the wobble and fletching contact that plague full-capture or stationary rests, which translates directly into tighter groups and more predictable arrow flight.

Constructed from durable, lightweight materials, the SOBO Drop Away Rest is designed to withstand the repeated stress of intense practice sessions and hunting seasons alike without losing its timing or responsiveness. The launcher arm itself is typically wrapped or coated to minimize noise and reduce wear on the arrow shaft, allowing archers to shoot confidently in quiet hunting situations where every sound matters. Adjustability is a key feature of this rest, with windage and elevation controls that let archers fine-tune arrow positioning to match their specific bow setup, draw length, and shooting style, ensuring the rest integrates smoothly into an existing archery system rather than forcing compromises.

Installation is straightforward, making the SOBO Drop Away Rest accessible to archers ranging from dedicated hobbyists to seasoned bowhunters looking for an upgrade from older rest technology. Because the arrow rides in full contact with the launcher until the moment of release, fletching clearance issues common with helical vanes are largely resolved, giving shooters more freedom in arrow and vane selection. Whether used on the range for competitive accuracy or in the field where a clean, silent, and reliable shot can mean the difference between a successful hunt and a missed opportunity, the SOBO Drop Away Rest delivers the kind of dependable performance that archers rely on when precision matters most.
